2 Point Equestrian is a modern clothing line combining high performance with a luxury finish. To date, the company sells English riding gear and plans to eventually expand their line. Samantha, the Eventer and young entrepreneur, assists in the design and testing of all clothing to ensure perfect performance and value to the rider.
The family supports female empowerment and hard work. Establishing a Made in the USA company and committing to sourcing and manufacturing in America can be daunting, which is why so many companies have had to look overseas for cheaper production, meaning less-expensive materials and labor in order to make a profit.
“We are a family-owned Sarasota Florida company and have put our hearts and souls into producing our inspirational brand,” said Sammie’s mother, Priscilla Whiteside. “Even though not sourcing labor from overseas is very difficult and more expensive, we are proud to only offer equestrian apparel made in the United States. We are empowered by Sammie’s dedication and responsibility to manage a quality equestrian supply business.”
She continued, “Other companies buy and rebrand inferior riding gear made in other countries. We don’t do that, and riders will feel and experience the difference.”
Another unique aspect of the brand is it incorporates pewter buttons from Fugawee, a north Florida jewelry and civil war reproduction company, furthering 2 Point Equestrian, Made in the USA mission.
